I've got a bad disease
from my brain is where i bleed
insanity it seems
it's got me by my soul to squeeze

Where's all the love for me
with all the dying trees i scream
The angels in my dreams yeah
they turn to demons of greed thats me

Where I go I just dont know
I've got to got to gotta take it slow
When I find my piece of mind
I'm gonna give ya some of my good time

Today love smiled on me
it took away my pain say please
Oh let your ride be free
you gotta let it be oh yeah

Where I go I just dont know
I've got to gotta gotta take it slow
When I find my piece of mind
I'm gonna give ya some of my good time

Oh so polite indeed
well I've got everything i need
Oh make my days of greed
and take away my self-destruction

It's bitter baby and its very sweet
I'm on a roller coaster but I'm on my feet
Take me to the river lay me on your shore
Well I'll be comin back baby I'll be comin back for more

Do do do do ding go sing a dong bong go ding ba domba somba nomba cong dong bing
I could not forget but I will not endeavor simple pleasures aren't as special but I wont regret it never

Where I go I just dont know
I've got to got to gotta take it slow
When I find my piece of mind
I'm gonna give ya some of my good time

Where i go i just don't know
I might end up somewhere in Mexico
When I find my piece of mind
I'm gonna keep it for the end of time

And a funny movie as well! Then again, for me anything with Farley I'll laugh at man. But DEFINITELY one of my favorite RHCP songs.

I LOVE this song. The chili peppers rock my world. The film clip is so cute with Anthony and the monkey :)
The bass line is on my to-learn list.

It was a Give It Away B-side too, and it made it on to the Greatest Hits. B rilliant song. One of their best.

It's the best RHCP song ever, after Under the Bridge! I do really love it for its funky bass lines and the words are just lovely.

Are those real snakes in the video?!? That brave Anthony...heh.

Yes, they're real! Anthony talks about them in the commentary on the greatest hits DVD. Hes very brave. :D

« One man's glory is another man's hell.
You’re on the outside, never bound by such a spell.
Together in the darkness, alone in the light.
I took it upon me to be yours, Timmy,
I’ll lead your angels and demons at play tonight......»

I've got Soul to squezze on three separate RHCP cds.

    On 'Give it away' single.

On 'Under the bridge' German import (with Sikamikaniko and Search and Destroy)

And I also have the Soul to squeeze EP. Can't remember what's on that. I think 'Fela's cock' and 'I could have lied' live are on it.
  • Sorry to say this on a PJ forum but Chili Peppers are #1 over everyone else.
Save the Population is a cool song but I still think that Bunker Hill should of made greatest hits before it. Soul to Squeeze and Bunker Hill should be played live at ALL their shows. EVERY TIME :)
  • not a big peppers fan, but this song fucking rocks. the video is sweet as hell too.
me you wouldn't recall, cause i'm not my former.
  • Stadium Arcadium is gonna fuckin dominate. John is god.

no!!! one hot minute is poor and freaky styley is my least favourite from the 80s. If you haven't already, please check out the uplift mofo party plan and Mother's milk (by far their best record) :D
