If your classic rock station in your town doesn't have a "Breakfast with The Beatles" 2 hour long show on Sunday mornings, then your radio station sucks!!!

Here in St. Cloud, Minnesota we get three songs every morning at 7am from the Beatles. Wish it were 2 hours though

  • Absolutely brilliant idea. I can't think of any band that could put you in a better mood in the morning.

I have always been of the opinion that the breakfast with the beatles is the biggest waste of time right up there with preachers on TV. however, our Jack does an accustic sunrise which is nice sunday morning listening.
I don't want to be hostile. I don't want to be dismal. But I don't want to rot in an apathetic existance either.

One of the local stations used to do it. They have changed formats so Im not sure if any others do it now, but the major rock station has what they call "The Hangover Cafe" until 12:00 on Sunday mornings. Same concept, they just don't limit the music to The Beatles. Good stuff to wake up to.

That's funny!! Our rock station here in San Diego has "Brunch with Bob (Marley) and Friends" on Sunday mornings.

I've heard this syndicated program before. It has more of a biographical slant to it, accented by trivia about the albums, b-sides, and issues surrouding the band.

I'd be curious to know if Breakfast with the Beatles is similar in style or if it has a different angle.

Yeah, Steve Slaton who DJ's Breakfast with the Beatles is a Beatles trivia nut! He gives so much Beatles information and plays so may different deep cuts off of all of their albums.

This Sunday you should tune in at http://www.kzok.com from 8 to 10am PDT.

I already knew my radio station sucks. They play "Racing Rocks" instead of "Breakfast With The Beatles" on Sunday mornings. Not much I can do about it except change the station.
It is time to admit that we used to rock like hurricanes. It is time to run for the hills and go round and round. It is time for us to shout at the devil. We've got the right to choose it, there ain't no way we'll lose it, and we're not gonna take it anymore.

I love "Breakfast with the Beatles" I used to listen to that as a kid on the classic rock station in Houston! I'd listen on the way to church and back every Sunday Morning. Wonder if they still carry it? cause this was like 17 years ago.

Check it out! Beatles before football!!
  • We don't have Breakfast with the Beatles on Sundays, but we have Beatles breaks every weekday in the morning at 8am and in the evening at 5pm.

Our Sundays are Psychedelic Psundays! And they're fantastic!

I like the Brunch with Bob idea in San Diego too! That would be cool to listen to!

Ugh, wish my station had that. We do have Fab Four at Four every day though where they play 4 Beatles songs (random ones, not just the singles) in a row, which is pretty sweet as you're winding down the work day.

The Chris Carter led Breakfast with the Beatles that i used to listen to on 97.1 in Los Angeles is now on Sirius ch. 25. it's even better now cause there are no commercials.

    Breakfast with the Beatles
Sunday 9 am - Noon ET
    Rebroadcast Sunday midnight ET
The nation's longest running Beatles radio program, Breakfast With The Beatles has been on the air for 25 years and now it will heard in the Underground Garage. Your host is Chris Carter and he will play classic Beatles songs as well as rare B-sides, outtakes, live recordings and more. Make a date to spend your Sunday mornings having Breakfast With The Beatles between 9 am and Noon ET in Little Steven's Underground Garage.
I’ve seen Pearl Jam 25 times, Eddie Vedder 9 times, and Brad once.
