AIC london show update (Sorta)

i went to the astoria the other day and the guy there said that to get tickets there is going to be some sorta special online thing, possibly tied into download festival.....

    OK i bought 2 tickets from that ticketmaster link, with the ticketrush thing. I'm worrying:

    a) the tickets were down as for the "mean fiddler" and not astoria
    b) the see tickets link is up and official

    I can't buy tickets from seetickets as well cos I can't afford it

    anyone got any news?

    The Venue has changed due to popular demand... This happens alot sometimes a band gets booked for Meanfiddler/Astoria2 because promoters think that it wont fill the Astoria but it gets sold out pretty fast and is in high demand so they move it to Astoria. Tickets stating Meanfiddler are still valid as they are essentially the same outfit.

    Seetickets is just another ticketing company that are selling tickets, ticketmaster were just doing pre sale tickets and may do public sales.

    i only ordered my tickets the other day and they have already turned up! wow. im used to tickets coming a day before the gig and me getting all worked up beforehand worrying if they would ever turn up

    People who ordered from ticketmaster presale, if you go into the 'My Account' section and look on your order history, the venue name has been updated to the Astoria. In all likelihood, the since the tickets haven't been sent out yet (well mine haven't anyway) the tickets that arrive will probably have Astoria written on them rather than Mean Fiddler.

    I had a phone call yesterday (well, it was a recorded message) from TicketMaster saying how the venue had changed, but tickets were still valid, etc. etc., so it's all good. :)

    Where did you order them from? When I checked the tracker it said they weren't in stock yet. Hmm interesting.

    Yeah I got the same message so it's all fine although no tickets yet. A friend of mine ordered through seetickets on tuesday and got them yesterday! Is it just Ticketmaster who are slow?

    Oooh didn't know he sang on Degradation Trip. Will have to investigate that one. What song's does he appear on?
