He's an amazing guitarist. Check out Mahavishnu Orchestra.

I've got the 'Friday Night in San Francisco' album with Paco de Lucia & some other guy, impressive, especially the first song.

That is possibly the finest guitar playing you will ever hear.

His stuff with Miles, solo, w/ Mahavishnu Orchestra...he's got some amazing work. For his solo stuff, check out "Extrapolation" and "Devotion"

The guy's guitar plying is flat out scary. Not only is he technically brilliant, but his playing is incredibly powerful and innovative as well. The Inner Mounting Flame by the Mahavishnu Orchestra may be the sickest guitar album ever recorded.

Friday Night in San Francisco, The Inner Mounting Flame and Birds of Fire are some of the best guitar albums ever.

    A true guitar god.

I don't think this guy is talkin Mahavishnu JOHN. He is talkin about Jon.

I would be willin to bet that Mahavishnu is a way more riduculously talented musician.
