Anyone else just in love with this song? I can't stop listening to it right now. I have it on repeat!

There used to be a greying tower alone on the sea
You became the light on the dark side of me
Love remained a drug that's the high and not the pill

But did you know
That when it snows
My eyes become large and
The light that you shine can't be seen

Baby, I have compared you to a kiss from a rose on a grave
Ooh, more I get of you a stranger who fills the air
And now that your rose is in bloom
A light hits the gloom on the grave

There is so much a man can tell you
So much he can say
You remain,
My power, my pleasure, my pain, baby

To me you're like a grown addiction that I can't deny
Won't you tell me is that healthy, baby?

But did you know
That when it snows
My eyes become large and
The light that you shine can't be seen

Baby, I have compared you to a kiss from a rose on a grave
Ooh, more I get of you a stranger who fills the air
And now that your rose is in bloom
A light hits the gloom on the grave

Bridge:
I've been kissed by a rose on the grave
I've been kissed by a rose (on the grave)
I've been kissed by a rose on the grave
(...And if I should fall along the way)
I've been kissed by a rose on the grave

There is so much a man can tell you
So much he can say
You remain
My power, my pleasure, my pain

To me you're like a grown addiction that I can't deny
Won't you tell me is that healthy, baby?

But did you know
That when it snows
My eyes become large and
the light that you shine can't be seen

Baby, I have compared you to a kiss from a rose on a grave
Ooh, more I get of you a stranger who fills the air
And now that your rose is in bloom
A light hits the gloom on the grave

Yes, I have compared you to a kiss from a rose on a grave
Ooh, more I get of you a stranger who fills the air
And now that your rose is in bloom
A light hits the gloom on the grave

Now that your rose is in bloom
A light hits the gloom on the grave
there'll be time for laughin'
there's no time to cry
soon i will be leavin'
look me in the eye
no matter what's in front of me
it's your face that i'll see

I love that song! What is the name of the other song he sings that was popular? Crazy I think. I like that one alot too.
Our love must not be just words, but True Love, which shows itself in action,
No one needs a smile more than someone who fails to give one,
After you die...you know how to LIVE!

I don't know if I'm really a fan, but I like everything I've heard from Seal. I don't own any of his music though.

I don't know why but I really like that song. In fact, I like the whole album. Never bought any of his other music though.
you couldn't swing if you were hangin' from a palm tree in a hurricane.
  • Yeah, Seal is the man. "Crazy" is the other hit song, the one in that commercial. If you like those two songs, check out "Prayer for the Dying" and "Love's Divine."

GREAT song. Love it. And it's from the soundtrack from the best of all of the Batman movies, Batman Forever.
Do you remember Rock & Roll Radio?

  • Why have it on repeat...just leave your radio dial tuned to any "soft rock" station in the country and I am sure you will hear it at least 5 times a day.
