Pumpkins To Play Portland Sept 21st!

In case you missed the BIG ANNOUNCEMENT this morning, YES... IT'S TRUE! The Smashing Pumpkins will headline 94/7's Pet Aid 2007 presented by Bud Light taking place on Friday, September 21st at The Clark County Amphitheater. To sweeten the deal, Billy Corgan will be bringing his Lollapalooza pal, Perry Farrell, along with his band Satellite Party to open the show.
Tickets go on sale Saturday, July 14th at 10am through all Ticketmaster outlets but be on the lookout for an email with details on the presale for Nation members like yourself. The presale will take place July 11th-13th.
As with previous Pet Aid shows, a portion of the proceeds will be going to DoveLewis and the Oregon Humane Society and tickets are $35 and $50.
To kick off the Pet Aid excitement we'll be giving away tickets all day on Wednesday (6.20). Anytime you hear a Smashing Pumpkins song between 6am and 10pm give us a call at 503.733.5470 or 1.800.777.0947 callers 9, 4 and 7 will score tickets to Pet Aid 2007!!
AND, that's not all!!! Next week (6.25-6.29) the Nation member awards will be tickets to Pet Aid 2007. Plus, everyone who successfully claims their award (remember to listen at 9am, 4pm and 7pm) will be in the drawing for a trip to see The Pumpkins in San Francisco.
