    you can listen to their first performance on the second radio broadcast.
    as well as dave grohls solo project,which is now the foo fighters.
    he played all the instruments on the cassette that ed played

    it's on a john lennon tribute album called "working class hero". it came out in 1995 i think. its a great cd! also has the chili peppers, screaming tress, collective soul, flaming lips and toad the wet sprocket..
