Axl's got a record coming out, Guns, I guess you call it, I think in March," stated Slash.
"Which is sorta cool, you know it's gonna be interesting to hear it. After all this time and after all this talk what's going on with him. That's what...I've been told a lot of things over the years, but it definitely sounds like it's coming out in March."
i wonder how he would know considerin Axl is so secretive?

Buckethead wasnt that bad, he can play guitar and doesnt play like slash, he puts his own solos onto the songs, its a shame he's gone unless they find a guitarist as good as him.

Could be any March in any upcoming century.
Anyway, GN'R are not GN'R without Slash and Duff :( I would check it out though IF and when this record comes out

No Slash, No Duff, No Matt. Dizzy was attached to the band for a while, I don't know if he's still playing with Axl or not.

Very good point. Probably March 2010, and that's being optimistic

This is not even close to being the same band that was "one of the greatest bands on earth" as you put it.
Buckethead has a different style than Slash. He plays much tighter and alot more technical. I would rather listen to Slash, but Buckethead can play circles upon circles around him.
Just because i didn't like one crappy performance, doesn't mean their not one of the greatest bands on earth in my opinion! Yes i dn't like bucket head as much as slash and there's a reason 4 that! One his style is totally diffrent to slashes, so that means when he performs their classic stuff aka welcome to the jungle it dsn't sound that good! Also appetite for destruction was i think their greatest album of all time so wen i compare their new stuff to it, i am indeed disapointed!
Thats the thing though, you cannot compare it to Appetite because it is not the same band. It's basically an Axl solo effort but he is just using the GnR moniker. Guns n Roses from 1987 through Use Your Illusion was a great band. This is not that band.
