stone temple pilots and VR to share same stage!

VH1 will tape an episode of Decades Rock Live dedicated to Scott in August 2006, according to the VH1 website. The show, which is set for August 18, 2006 and is said to be featuring Velvet Revolver and Stone Temple Pilots together on the same stage, will take place at Atlantic City, New Jersey’s Trump Taj Mahal on August 18, 2006

cant wait even though i live in AUS.

    This is unfuckingbelievable. Let's hope that actually performing in both bands back to back in one night will clue Scott in as to how ok-but-not-so-great VR actually is and how special STP is.

    Scott better be performing with both, not different people peforming with both. I'm almost definately there though.

I am going to the concert and planning to get there early enough to get in the front row, but I have no personal connection with anyone in the band to find out that info...I was just kidding about that part! But I have no doubts that it will be a kick ass show!!!!

    From my understanding, the way this will work is as follows.

    Scott will be doing songs with STP, Velvet Revolver and also his own solo material. More information coming soon...

    Its cool that hell play with both bands but I don't really need to hear his old solo stuff...I'll be more open minded about his upcoming solo material though. Let's hope STP doesn't do a short set of all hits.

    I hope he does play some old solo stuff. I like 12 bar blues a lot. I hope this really happens. It's one thing to plan it, it is another thing to actually pull it off.

    I could create a website with the same info - it doesn't make it legit. If you go to VH1s website, you'll notice you can't find the link for that page on their website - that seems a bit off (not to mention that nowhere on Vh1.com can you find info about this show).

    OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i cant wait, this is sooo awesome, stp are one of my favorite bands and i never got to see them live :D

    these vh1 shows are great, im already going to see Heart/AIC in march, now i have another one i cant wait for :D
