*** Tim Hardin ***

Anybody here like? Any opinions?
Was a friggin huge talent whose voice for me murders most of the '60s folkies, and beyond. In fact, after Hardin, the Dylan croak makes me feel bilous and I need time before I can hear any Young again. It's cruel he never encountered any significant success during his career despite some of his songs charting through inferior renditions, and his death went unnoticed in 1980(only a couple weeks after Lennon caught the bullet).
Here's some songs based on what was available, they're all great anyhow.

but rock n roll will live forever! - ray davies
I like Tim Hardin's music quite a bit. Believe it or not I was introduced to his music through my favorite tv show the "Wonder Years" In the episode "Frank and Denise" "If I were a carpenter" was playing in various parts of the episode, and fell in love with the song.
I really liked his version of "Bird on a wire" (I believe originally by Leonard Coen??)
Also Tim Hardin wrote and sang the song "reason to believe" Which Rod Stewart covered and Rod's version is probably the most popular/ well known.
I liked "red balloon and "black sheep boy" but other than those mentioned, I haven't much more of Tim, but I need to get an album of his. Those songs mentioned above, are great although "If I were a carpenter" is by far my favorite of his.
