Very Odd Dave Grohl Dead Story

THe other day in the NY post and on VH1 news there was a reports clearing up the mess on how it was rumored the Dave Grohl died (untrue of course). It said people were calling Dave's wife and leaving message saying Im sooo sorry....blahblahblah. The news reports had no idea where these false rumors came from and it didnt say how people though dave died.
Grohl in his constant comic fassion then issued a statement basically saying
"cool, im honered. Im not dead, but its funny and i guess im honored"

Anyone else see of here this crap? Apparently it was quite intense and many thought dave had tragically and suddenly died.

Everyone knows Dave Grohl cannot die unless he chooses to do so.

and he would only choose that to savce the human race... when the time comes..

sounds like those sources need to check their facts before publishing something like that and saying it is true
