New Velvet Revolver singer--RUMOR

So I read a few rumors that Brett Scallions (formerly of Fuel) MAY be the new Velvet Revolver singer. Again its just a rumor and probably will not hold true. I sure hope not. I'd rather see Brett continue to pursue his solo album idea.

    this rumor was brought up on the Riders on the Storm forum. An admin claims he asked Brett and he said no, he's not going with VR.

    didnt fuel ask chris daughtry to front them when this guy left? maybe velvet revolver will ask him too... would be a perfect fit for those tools :D

    that band needs to end... and i assumed it had with the STP reunion

    Thats really sad. Velvet revolver wasn't even good when weiland was the singer, how could the be any good with a new one? that band is DONE.

    Oh yeah, Hole covered it quite a few times. I think it was meant to be mocking Axl though since all the shit that went down between Kurt/Courtney/Axl.

    Maybe they should ask Chris Cornell... he's not doing anything since Audioslave became RATM again and his voice is nowhere near what it used to be... he might fit just right ;-)

    Also he has a new solo album coming out in a couple of months, so I don't think he's available.

    Wow, I wasn't saying that his voice no longer sounds good...it just doesn't have the strength it used to have 15 years ago. I saw Audioslave in one of their first live performances back in 2002 and he sounded great, and I really dug his verion of Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean" (and I heard it before that dude did it on American Idol). The whole Cornell in Velvet Revolver thing was a joke... he would fit with them about as good as Billy Ray Cyrus would. Sorry if I offended anyone.

    I think this would be a good choice, actually

    Fuel was a pretty damn good band, and what exactly have they done since
    this guy left?

    VR's 2nd album was complete and utter shit, so they needed a change anyway

    As for the Axl suggestions ....let's let that guy release that album first and then get Gnr back together
