I went to the Chicago show last night it was awsome.....
The new singer William DuVall did a hell of a job. If you closed your eyes you would think it is layne. I would highly recommend the show. They pretty much played all their songs. It was a two hours set with two encores. They played most of jars of flies also and some of the other acustic songs from mtv unplugged. The rest was pluged in and rockin. They had this video out take I think from the music bank dvd during the break and before the encores showing layne. So it almost felt like he was there too. The crowed was chanting jerry jerry jerry at the end of the show. Jerry put the micro phone out in the crowd and then later said thank you, thank you, thank you.

I agree, Duvall sounds almost exactly like Layne. On songs like Rooster or Down in a Hole, it was hard to believe how much he really did sound like Staley.
What an amazing show. I felt really lucky to witness such rock and roll greats live!
