    Some of his originals are great, some of them are generally terrible. They're usually hit or miss for me, and rarely anywhere in between.

    His artist parodies (as opposed to song parodies) are usually pretty good. Genius In France is the best Frank Zappa song not written by Frank Zappa. It's amazing how he got that down pat. And Bob is also fantastic. Add to that that every line is a palindrome makes it quite a feat.

    I don't know too many Al originals. I like the ones on the Bad Hair Day album (the only AL_bum I own) and the Eddie Vedder song is of course funny to me.
