Anyone have Anchor Drops by Umphrey's McGee?

    When I first listened to them I loved them. I went and saw 3 or 4 of their shows and they were pretty phenomenal. Anchor Drops is a really, really great album. They are a solidified jam band following in the footsteps of Phish. Listen to Anchor Drops, go see a show. See what you think. I thought the last album was pretty bad, and lost interest in them. Great musicians though.

    they are really really strong musicians, but that music isnt my cup of tea.

    Yup, most of it is too much for me. That's why I can't see them live anymore, but it was a hell of a show to see.

    I like both of their CD's -Anchor Drops and the one they released last year - saw them live once and they were good, but I thought they went a little overboard with the jamming. I like the jam bands, but IMO the show could have been better if they cut back on the jams and played more songs. They had two sets and probably a total of ten songs.
