The new Incarnation of Journey

Has anyone seen them this summer. I'm going Sunday with some big Journey fans I work with. I'm just a casual fan of their music and am going mainly to see Heart, but I have to admit that I'm pretty impressed with their new singer. He sounds just like Steve Perry.     yay! it's nice to read somebody appreciating the new lead vocalist, am not actually a fan but we are proud of our kababayan...

    OMG. Thanks for the link. I saw Journey a couple of times years ago but when Steve Perry left I never thought Journey would be able to replace him. That guy sounds just like him and he seems like he's got a lot of heart. I'll definately have to see them if they come to Florida.

    saw them in June, they were great. really good show. Arnel (new singer) doesnt stop smiling the whole time, clearly loving it. and the bass player seemed like he was wired on some sort of drug....played good, but was making these weirds faces & shit the whole time (maybe he always does this, i duno!) ......there were one/two songs where there was clearly a giude vocal for the singer, but only one or two, everything else in the set was all him. He can sing like Perry for sure

    overall it was great show

    My husband worked the show in Nashville this week. He is not really a fan, but watched from backstage and said they were really really good and the new lead singer was awesome. He was pleasantly surprised.
