new single tarantula leaked. sounds ok. hope the album is better than this. it's like they tried to squeeze all that was good from their early days into one song but it doesn't quite fit. some nice soloing though.

    Damn I thought you had an album leak ;)

    Anyway I thought Tarantula was kick ass, definitely a new direction for them. I hear pieces of Siamese Dream and Mellon Collie in it, but it's not like this could've been on either of those albums.

    listening to it a bit more now. growing a little on me. this is my fifth listen.

    sounds like a mixture of machina with older, rawer vibe.

    drums sound very machina. guitars not as layered as they were back in the day.
    voacl melody not that memorable for me so far.

    riff sounds like something from machina 2.

    that's just my feeling.

    does sound like they're trying hard to be ROCKING.

    NOT AS GOOD AS THE DINOSAUR JR. REUNION IMO. which kicked ass.

    don't really like the new album cover either. or the leaked photo's.

    i'll keep an open mind for the album release. sounds better than machina at any rate. which sucked my donkey dick.

    love all the rest of their stuff though. adore is majorly underrated.
