just found the new song 'dashboard'

i just thought i'd share it with the peeps who havent heard it yet

the sound quality is ok and its a studio recording

    I couldn' t understand half of the things he said, but on the first listen it made me want to dance. So yes, i like it.

    I like it a lot. Kind of reminds me of Rusted Root.
    Once in a while you can get shown the light, in the strangest of places if you look at it right.

    very cool song!!! Different than anything they've done before...now I'm really psyched for the new album. The horns are great!

    Good stuff. The album was supposed to come out last Dec, but I think it's been postponed until March.

    I don't know, guys...this song kinda sucks actually. Sounds like a shittier version of Good News, which was also a sub-par album by their standards. It's a little too radio friendly, and it lacks the former wit of the band. Whatever happened to tracks like "Heart Cooks Brain"?

    I haven't been able to find a firm release date yet. Their site says the single will be released in late January or something, but only says the album will "come out later" or something vauge like that. You've got to think it is finished if the single is coming out, they need a date and tracklist.

    And we now have a date: March 20. The single, Dashboard will hit itunes this Tuesday the 30th.

    This record should be quite interesting. I'm not sure what to expect off of the Dashboard single... the song is definitely good, but it's a "different" Modest Mouse, ya know? They kind of strayed away from the typical sound they had... it's more Clashish... or am I the only one that hears this?
    If I could, think I would give in.
