Just got The Raconteurs album...

love it, dig it, and i was suprised to like it from beginning to end and not dislike one song

next to Wolfmother this is my fav cd at the moment

any thoughts?

    It's a good album, but I wish Jack would just stick with The White Stripes.

    being a fan of the white stripes, brendan benson and the greenhornes almost automatically guaranteed for me the raconteurs/saboteurs would not suck.

    I thought the CD rocked. Some great classic rock vibes and a great blues song in Blue Veins. That and the title track are my favorite songs. I wish Jack broke loose a little more as he seemed to be holding back. I look forward to see what they do from here on out since Jack said he's commited to both bands.

    Together is a great song
    Level is alright....

    the rest is "eh"

    why would Jack go from doing something as great as the Stripes, and then do something like this? Probably because he got bored.

    Its not worth buying in my opinion.

    i agree he broke out here....tho i like the White Stripes, alot of the songs just seem redudant

    i was playing this album for a buddy of mine and he was like "shit man you need to be on heroin to listen to this cd"...haha...and the funny thing is that he dont do that shit

    I am loving this cd right now. Each time I listen to it it sounds better and better. Now it is time to search for the vinyl.

    yeah day 2 with the Raconteurs, Wolfmother, and Thrice would be awesome!!
