Okay, I really went on a splurge today. Haven't bought any albums in awhile, but boy did i make up for it.

Here it goes:

Neko Case - The Tigers Have Spoken; Fox Confessor Brings the Flood
Comets on Fire - s/t
Six Organs of Admittance - Compathia
Les Savy Fav - Go Forth
Beth Orton - Comfort of Strangers
The Replacements - Tim
Social D - s/t
Velvet Underground - s/t
Otis Redding - The Very Best of Otis Redding
Spoon - Gimmie Fiction; Kill the Moonlight
The Thermals - The Body, The Blood, The Machine
The Drones - Gala Mill; Live at Spaceland

VU and Social D replaced old, worn out discs I had, but the others were all new for me. Les Savy Fav really surprised me listening to it at the record store. I gotta say I'm really enjoying it. A nice little find. Neko Case's live album is really fun as well. I'm beginning to think she's a modern countrified version of Grace Slick, but still her own. She's just a great singer. I'm excited to see what Jim O'Rourke did for Beth Orton's new album. If he injected a much needed shot in the arm to Sonic Youth, I can't wait to see what he did w/ Ms. Orton.

Okay, okay. I know it. My name is 3sheets and I'm an audioholic. I've been listening all my life and it has gotten more intense and severe the past few years. I can't go a day without listening to music. It fills a void in me that nothing else can come close to doing. In fact, I just listened to some music on my way to this meeting.

can anyone tell me anything about the band Tea Leaf Green? I'm on my slow, slow, slow computer and listening to snippets/songs is pretty much out of the question.

I would just like to know what kind of music they play, if they're good live/good stage presence, etc. thanks beforehand.

    I got a couple cd's for christmas

    Amon Amarth- Fate of Norns
I love this cd. this is my first exposure to these guys. I'm a geek i get off of metal guys crunching out massive riffs with viking overtones in their lyrics.

    Tom Waits- Closing Time
Again my first exposure to Tom Waits and man i have been wrong to have not picked up one of his albums before i'm loving it!

    Miles Davis- My Funny Valentine
My first live Miles album. Great stuff i need to listen to it more though
