Deerhoof/Busdriver Tour

Go check this great little tour out. Deerhoof is very eccentric and avant-garde. Kind of like putting Blue Cheer, Zappa, Boredoms, Sonic Youth, Yo La Tengo and 13th Floor Elevators in a blender and hitting pureee. But they put on a tight set and are really nice people (had a chat w/ the guitarist about Busdriver). They also have this killer fan onstage. If you've seen them, you'll know what I mean. Very interesting idea. Surprised no one thought of it by now.
And as for Busdriver, he is quite the showman. Just him rapping/spitting out weird vocals (w/ effects as well) and his dj breaking the beats. He is one of the most unique rappers I have ever heard. If you go to see Deerhoof, make sure to get there a little early to see Busdriver. Well worth it indeed.
