disturbing and awkward, discuss...
"I'll do whatever the song dictates - if it doesn't need a real lead, then I won't do one. But if it does, then I'll fuckin' go off." - Mike
"Japan is awesome; the fans there knew all the words to all the songs...at least phonetically." - Stone
"I know this song so well, I can smoke a cigarette, have a drink, brush my teeth, take a shit, and mow the lawn while singing it. But I'll only be doing a couple of those things during this version." - EV

not a huge madonna fan, like a few of her songs, but i give her props for lasting this long. but iggy deserved to be inducted WAY before her.
i love it.
as for Madonna, guess she's earned her place in pop culture
"Call me Ishmael. Some years ago- never mind how long precisely- having little or no money in my purse, and nothing particular to interest me on shore, I thought I would sail about a little and see the watery part of the world." Herman Melville : Moby Dick
As for Iggy, I've always found him disturbing but in that menacing, edgy and positive way.

In any case, love the stooges.
The combination of Madonna and fellow Detroiter Iggy Pop seems to blow some minds. It's understandable.
