Wow, LONDON....I love that song, but its always weird when they do a Smiths song with such distinct guitar sounds!....hard to imitate Johnny Marr!

I am going on Saturday, but I am sure I will want to go more if the setlists vary so much!

I know what you mean, but its sounded amazing. Never thought London could sound good without Johnny, maybe I'll find a video of it later.

Good stuff, there. I'm going to the very last show on the 13th; I figured that since it's his final show and the last show at the Palladium before it closes, it should be a great and memorable eve.

Really looking forward to seeing him swing.

The gf and I are gonna go to the Detour Festival for a few hours, then ride the subway to the Palladium for the show on Saturday night!

I went to the first one (last year's)....was thinking about it going this Saturday; not really sure about it. Bloc Party and Nico Vega are my draws, I'm sure Satellite Party's probably interesting but it doesn't have the same pull for me like last years' line up of Beck, QOTSA, Basement Jaxx (that was wicked!), The Like, Blackalicious, Blonde Redhead and Everybody Else.

The Palladium is closing? That's too bad. I've got a lot of good memories from that place.

Not to worry, I believe it's closing for "extensive repairs" and will be closed for a while to eventually re-open.

The memories are safe.

The memories are safe, that's true regardless. I don't get up to L.A. much anymore, but it's good to know that the Palladium is still there.

Morrisey's show was cancelled tonight and tomorrow night because of a broken water pipe at the Palladium. Guess it's a good thing its getting fixed up.
