Yup, I dig the smooth, sophisticated old bugger :)
"I remember one night at Muzdalifa with nothing but the sky overhead, I lay awake amid sleeping Muslim brothers and I learned that pilgrims from every land — every colour, and class, and rank; high officials and the beggar alike — all snored in the same language"
  • Playing Bonnie and Clyde to your woman = guaranteed shag.

    :D
  • Reminds me of the Velvet Underground! He was a great musician for the little I know him! His daughter came up with something recently, not bad at all!
"Come on people now, smile on your brother and everybody get together, try to love one another right now!!!!"
"You my friend, I will defend and if we change, well I love you anyway"
"I know I was born and I know that I'll die, the in between is mine, I AM MINE"

Whenever I ask my older French co-workers what they think about Gainsbourg I always get looks of disgust or "vieux cochon", which of course makes me want to check him out even more.

Must have been just the middle-aged Quebecers I worked with ;) Their taste in music was questionable anyways.
