Pearl Jam at Rothbury Festival?
With Bonnaroo confirmed all the rumors and sources of the band playing at ACL & other festivals, I wonder if they may tack on a gig at the new Rothbury Festival. I have a gut feeling this is very doable. You heard it here first
The festival also happens to be very environmentally friendly with a Think Tank, Energy Fair and a pledge to donate $50,000 worth of solar panels to a local school. Right up Stone's alley.
The event will be held July 3-6 in Rothbury, Michigan, about three hours northwest of Detroit. The setting is the Double JJ Ranch, which will offer camping in addition to on-site lodging. Tickets go on sale Feb. 27 via RothburyFestival.com.

maybe not this year, but another year, it might be right up their alley!
I wave to all my Friends... Yeah!
Well..there are other festivals with fairly organized looking lineups.. so.. ya never know
This is my kind of love...
♥♥♥
LETS HEAR IT FOR MICHIGAN. Finally a sweet festival to call our own.
San Diego 2003
Grand Rapids 2004
Grand Rapids 2006
Detroit 2006
Columbus 2010
"With my own two hands I can change the world."
however I am jumping on the Alpine bandwagon.... let's go Alpine '08
I'm all for Alpine 08, 09, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15...
The more alpine shows, the more reasons I have to go visit home!
Patrick, you still heading out this way? Red Rocks 08!

LOL Of course, right...? The very first time I post an actual "rumor" and that other thread pops up.
This is exactly why I don't post any real info when I hear it and keep it in our close circle. Whatev!
I still believe this could be a distinct possibility.
Flame away all you negative nancy's!
This is my kind of love...
♥♥♥
Jeff (?) also said they were playing the Austin City Limits festival.. and... they're not on the list! So I guess we'll see if your theory proves true or not. But since you say they are not playing it, I guess they aren't.
This is my kind of love...

This one in MI has been announced... so yea Pearl Jam is not playing it. They don't usually add the headliner at a later date. Sorry.
didn't you just start a thread about hating rumor threads?
***GOT EM***
It's growing up just like me
Yeah it looks pretty damn fun... and never give up hope!
This is my kind of love...

I really doubt PJ will play this. They definetly would have been in the intial announcement.
"We're running out of beer, too?" EV 6/19/08

I might go just to see them.
and i think PJ fans are pumped for the fests after the great time we all had at lolla last year!

Because they already announced the bands, and unlikely (or very unlikely) going to add someone like PJ into the mix. They have enough bands to sell 40k tickets.

And no one makes me close my eyes
So I throw the windows wide
And call to you across the sky....
They've been cool in Europe and Australia for a long time, you guys are just catching up
