As we were walking to the Wiltern from our car last night, I saw restaurants right near the Ramada and realized that some people will be in for culture shock, but in a very cool way!

is it classy? i'm getting stuff packed this week and wondering what stuff to bring. to bring a suit & tie to this event or just go shirt & shorts?

yep. well, was thinking on bringing thy armani suit, adidas sneakers, garfield tie & my ripped no sleeve jacket. but the flip flops from the dollar store is tempting!
Did you ever find the tickets you were looking for? I forgot for which night?
Still looking for Night 1, but I'm sure something will come up. If not, I may just go hang out with my old college roommate who is out there and check out his comedy club he performs at occasionally. I would love a ticket, but I'm already going to Santa Barbara and LA 2 plus the East Coast leg so I've already been pretty lucky this year.

Hey all, I'm coming in from Holland for these two shows and also staying in LA monday and tuesday (leaving at 6 pm on tuesday).
My flight arrives at 1pm on saturday and i've gotta rent a car, quickly drop by the hostel i'm staying at n. fairfax avenue and then i'd love to join you all.
So realisticly speaking i might be there at around 4ish/5ish. Is that still ok?
Sunday i'll be at universal studios, checking that out and i guess i'll be around the same time at the meeting as on saturday
So, if this is ok, you can add my name to the list of both shows.

Hi...I haven't helped with these pre-parties but looking at the Opus website it looks a little to upscale for a PJ gathering...I mean I like upscale places but not before I'm going to a rock show...Anyone else feel the same?
For the record too I've seen Pearl Jam / Eddie Vedder(w/Neil Finn) & even Brad 17 times so I'm not just some guy who is complaining to complain...If it's just a case of someone planning it who doesn't know the area let me know.
