Even though these guys are not a band anymore, and have gone on to new projects, I was wondering how many Toadies fans are still out there and listen to this band? and the band still remains a favorite of yours?

  • I'm a huge fan of about half the Toadies catalog. I keep a compilation of my favorite 9-10 Toadies songs in heavy rotation...

But actually when the new Burden Brothers album, Mercy, was released a few weeks ago, I updated the compilation to include my favorite Burden Brothers tracks as well.

So now the CD consists of about an hour's worth of Todd Lewis goodness!

Vaden Todd Lewis of The Burden Brothers will be reforming with the Toadies for four live dates in March. Check them out in Austin, TX on March 12 and 13, Houston on March 14, and Dallas on March 17. The Toadies, best known for their radio hit "Possum Kingdom," broke up officially in 2001 but have reunited a handful of times since then

btw, i totally dig the Toadies, too bad that they are only playing in Texas :(

    That is cool.

Are the Burden Brothers still around? I know they had that one song that rocked a few years back, but I could never find their cd.

yeah the Burden Brothers are still around. Currently they are touring right now. I know they are suppose to come to SF and play a show, but I can't go. :( I hate being broke!

I know what song you are talking about, I think it is called, "A Beautiful Night"
