What kind of mic is Kurt using on this version, cause his vocals sound really weird. They sound almost electronic sort of, or is he just vocalizing really low like that?

    it's a normal mic, he's just singing very strange. the band is not playing the music, it was the recorded album. then kurt was singing over the top of it in a funky way. it's almost like he's trying to do a sinatra impression or something.

    He's just singing in a low, sedated voice. Kurt could also sing high like a munchin or like he's inhaled helium - listen to "Beans" on the Nirvana box set - people think Kurt's using effects but that's really his natural voice (he does it at some shows and on some other demos too).
