Well, another great intimate small music venue is shutting it's doors in Dallas. Trees went under about 6 months ago, and now the Tea room is gone. So long Deep ellum. The Gypsy tea room was a great place to see a show, and I'm just glad I got to see one there, as it really was a cool venue. :( I was looking forward to seeing more.
I have a feeling the Granada theater is next on the list, since the House of Blues just opened, and took most of their band bookings.
