Enough with 110%

The time has come to put an end to the phrase 110%. It is not possible. Scary Spice just said that Eddie Murphy is 110% the baby daddy. Not possible. And when it comes to effort, you can not give more than 100%, and if you try to put in more, you overdo it an wind up with less. Proof: pour 12 oz into an 8 oz cup and you will wind up with less than 8 oz.

It is time to put a stop to it. You gave your all, it is 100%, not more.
I don't want to be hostile. I don't want to be dismal. But I don't want to rot in an apathetic existance either.

    For that matter, I never understood the phrase "I could care less". The intuitively correct phrase is "I couldn't care less", but nobody uses it like that. WTF moment of the day.

    It's a philosophical idea. It is a fact that humans can muscle through way more weight, or mass, than normal through adrenaline. Ordinarily the brain sends retarding messages to the body in order to prevent injuries. So in a way, greater than 100% can be achieved.
    Just talking, I agree with what you're saying.

    Only Americans say "I could care less". Over here we use the phrase correctly.
