That set need Cobra, O Is The One That Is Real, and Honest Man mixed into it somehow. Maybe some Tonight I Wanna Celebrate With You too.

Holy living fuck. God I hope Radio City is in that ballpark. And we better get Zach dressed as Annie during a Crue cover.

i was never really a big fan of this group, but this new album is kicking some ass right now. I just finished listening to "Highly Suspicious" and i couldn't stop increasing the volume the entire time. Sweeeet.

I highly doubt it. This was a special gig for the band and they pulled out all the stops. My guess is we'll be lucky to hit two hours/20 songs on the "an evening with" shows this summer/fall.

    I was there!!!!

greatest show I've ever seen.... 4 hours... in the rain
    the Minions
  • rolled into Bonnaroo at about 1:30 in the pooring rain and expected to be miserable the whole time.

couldnt have been more wrong. Got to see MMJ put on an amazing show in the rain, then PJ rocked harder than ever saturday.

    just a really great time.

I was there as well. My first MMJ experience and holy shit... may have been the best show I've ever seen. I left at about 3:15 unfortunately cuz i thought they'd be done soon, then they went 45 more minutes.

I actually woke up in fear that PJ might not be able to top it. I still can't decide who the winner is.

Here is the full recording of the show at Roo.. Enjoy.
  • What an amazing show. The glowsticks and giant balls (insert pun here) were flying through the air when evil urges led off the show, and it never let up. The only thing I am pissed about is that I stayed until 3:15am and finally had to leave because the blister on my foot was killing me, I was drenched and freezing without a poncho, and was minutes from passing out from exhaustion. I missed Zach Galifiniakas apparently in green briefs....singing....that would have been hilarious. It's OK though, I got to see him in the comedy tent yelling non sequiturs like "You aint got no pancake mix!" Fuggin great. Anywho, the show was epic, and the rain was a pouring, only seeming to add to the atmosphere. The James Brown was groovy soul, and Jim was bouncin around the stage in a cape, letting out the "Hips" and "Hoos" that James Brown would let out on stage. The horn section really added to the music too -- they were great. Fuckin even a saxophone solo. This show was epic, and easily one of my top three favorites of the weekend.

Did it seem to anyone else that the harder they played the harder it rained? During the intermission and during slow songs it hardly rained at all.
