Let's Play "PJ Fill in the Blanks"

Help me out:

1. All five horizons revolved around _____________ Now the air I tasted...

2. I'm not ugly and you're looking at me, and I __________ If just once...

3. Take my hand not my picture _________ I don't wanna take...

These are some lyrics I was never 100% sure about.
I've seen a few different versions in different places - lyrics websites, etc.
I have my own theories but if anyone knows for a FACT what the real lyrics are, please post them here.

    this one has been trouble for me too, and it's my favorite song. after hearing it live so many times, i've settled on:

    Thanks everyone who replied, but are you guys 100% certain these are the absolute correct lyrics or are you just saying what you think it is?

    Come on, I know we've got some super-obsessed fans around here... Hasn't anyone ever abducted Eddie, injected him with a dose of truth serum, hooked up jumper cables to his genitals, and had a panel of experts administer a polygraph test while you asked him about the lyrics to Corduroy?

    Anybody??

    You've definitely got talent as a lyricist. If Eddie ever quits the band, I think we've got a replacement lined up.

    of course ive done this to Ed, but it was for my own sexual gratification, not to get lyrics out of him. : )
