Crows/Goo Goo Dolls

So, this summer, the Counting Crows are touring again. Other than PJ and a James Taylor show (that's right), the Crows have put on some of the best shows I've seen live. I wonder if they are doing the co-headlining thing again. I missed out last time they came through with John Mayer (couldn't deal with all the pony tails and frat boys), but don't want to miss out again. Not that the Dolls are bad, I guess, I just yearn for a full-on Crows show. Guesses anyone?

    8-26 they will be in philyl , ill definitely be there , this show is going to be great, i love both acts

    anyway, i love the crows live. i may check this out. im only a fariweather goo goo dolls fan, but i remember enjoying them live back when they opened for bush in 96. i wouldnt mind seeing them again.

    Simply a dig at the crowd. Personally, I love pony tails; it's just the combo of all the bouncing tails and drunken frat boys showing out that gets me. Got enough of that during school, ya know? I'm there to rock out, not show out.

    we must be from diff parts of the country... what's showing out mean? are the pony tails a reference to teeny bopper fans?

    "Showing out" Umm... More there to be seen than anything else. Too cool to have too much fun. All pretensions and stuff, ya know? Not teeny boppers, per se. More like the huge sunglasses, "I love DMB crowd." I just see a lot of it around campus and when we venture to Austin to see some shows. Death Cab/Franz for instance. The music just brings out the entire spectrum, I guess. I like pretty ladies just as much as the next guy, I'm am just old and bitter, maybe.
