  • Get the Trojan Dub Box Set.
  • get Mad Proffesor´s "No Protection"- you can also try with Horace Andy´s "In The Light/In the light Dub" as well, and some King Tubby or Prince Jammy vs. Scientist. any album of those two is fine. theres also a great spanish dub outfit , i cant remember the name, something about monkeys, heard it this weekend from a friend it was great, ill find out later

I just got me a quite gorgeous dub album, it's titled "Dub Side of the Moon" and it's Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" completely reworked in dub/reggae fashion, really worthy, this is not just a cheap adaptation, it has some great production work behind it and provides those classic songs with a whole different new breath.
Really enjoyable, just light a fat one and let the music do the work.

...Of course when talking about dub first name that comes to mind is Lee Scratch Perry so try to get almost anything from him if you wanna follow down the dub path. That guy's a real innovator, kind of like a mad scientist.

    maybe you mean Macaco?
They're not exactly dub, but yeah, they have some elements of it and definitely make some cool groovy "multicultural" music.
Which reminds me of Asian Dub Foundation, though they're not as dub as the name suggest they have some great stuff mixing eastern music elements with reggae and hip-hop. Check their album "Rafi's Revenge" if you haven't.
