Has anyone else heard Jack White's side project yet. Downloaded a live show of them from the Astoria, in London (where PJ will be playing soon) from March 23rd. I've only listened to it once, but it sounded pretty good to me. Don't have the track listing on me right now, so can't really discuss songs, but overall, it is decent.

I enjoy anything that has Jack White involved. I really think he is amazingly brilliant. I can't wait for this to come out. Also, where did you download the live show? I'd like to check that out.
I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.

    Here you go...

    http://raconteurs.redcandycane.net/

AWESOME site. :D They have the Astoria & Glasgow shows up! Sounds incredible!!! Agreed that JACKIE WHITE is a musical god, and even that is an understatement. ;) The man is TOO MUCH!!!!! It was love at first listen with me and The Raconteurs.....actually, it was love before listen really. :p hehe.

I'm SO excited about the album and shows in the US!!!!!! Steady As She Goes refuses to get outta my head and that is fine by me. :D I'm also really stuck on Yellow Sun. It's got such a Peace Frog groove to it!!! The 2 little Greenhorners mixing in their classic sound. I love it.

Really quite an incredible mix of talent and sound here. This is a new band that I am VERY excited about. :) All the more reason why this musical year is BLESSED and MAY specifically. ;)

Definitely picking up the album. The live stuff from the Astoria sounds good so far. Checked out the playlists and both the shows they have available for download have identical playlists except 2 songs are switched around at the end. I know they have limited material and probably want to steer clear of any White Stripes stuff but they could at least change up the order a bit. Just my thoughts. Everything sounds good though.

seems they can't even pick an original band name either.

After listening to a couple of the tracks I love this alabum. The acoustic songs sound fantastic. Good new band.

  • I love the two songs I've heard.

Might hear some more songs here in a minute when I go back up earlier in the thread and check out the redhotcandycane link (I knew of the white stripes version, but had no clue a raconteurs sister stie had popped up).

[Edit]Nevermind. The site has exceeded its bandwidth for the month and go longer offer the Racanteurs bootlegs.
