  • Good set! Just two tracks short:

    20th Century (21st Century Witch)
    Shinin' (Radio Edit)

    and also:

Bless Me Father was released as a Myspace exclusive last year.
Low was originally issued in 2005, but was re-recorded and re-released on Brad's Myspace page in October 2007. Not sure which version you're using, but there are 2 out there to make it complete! :)

PS - this isn't meant to criticize you - just informational so you can complete the set!

hehe, I know. I'm not really interested in that Radio Edit. And I could not find that 21st Century Witch Remix. Also I didn't used 'Bless Me Father' and 'Low '07' because those will be on the new record :D

Fair enough! Nice job on the download - I'm sure a lot of people really needed those tracks!

A bunch of updates to be uploaded to the Collective this week...some newer Shawn tunes and some alternate releases of older material. Maybe I'll get around to uploading all the pics one of these days.

I've never really paid attention to the Pearl Jam side projects. I downloaded this on a whim, and it sounds fucking incredible. And these are just the B-sides? Brilliant.

What's the best place to start with Shawn Smith? I fell in love with some of his tracks when they appeared on The Sopranos, but I'd no idea they were actually by him at the time.

There have been 4 tracks on Sopranos:
    Leaving California
    Wrapped in my Memory
Shake It (Like You Just Made Bail)
Pigeonhed's Battle Flag (LoFi Allstars remix)

The 1st 2 listed were in the episode where they kill Adrianna and are most recognized by Sopranos fans. Those tracks are off Shawn's amazing Shield of Thorns album.

I'm hard-pressed to choose favorite Shawn stuff since I like so much of it from so many places, but the most accessible music in terms of albums would be:

    Brad's Interiors
    Satchel's The Family
Shawn's Shield of Thorns (out of print - there will be yet another re-release this year though)
Shawn's Diamond Hand (the newest album, available at http://www.soundvssilence.com and itunes.)

All of Shawn's solo albums and many unreleased tunes are also available for download on his Hoooka at http://www.indie911.com//index.php?cID=1112
