Inspirational music for a trip

I'm going to Cali next week, and I'm trying to find some new music for the trip. What I'm looking for is stuff that sounds like movie scores. Not really soundtrack stuff, but the instrumental music made specifically for the film. Stuff like Hans Zimmmer and Craig Armstrong. Maybe something in the vein if Sigur Ros or even Godspeed... Just something thats melodic and takes you on a journey with the music.

So anybody got any ideas?
