I totally agree. How can it be an anniversary when only half of the people in the relationship are left? And, they were not even a band for a good 6-7 of those 20 years.
PJ albums, at the moment!! -
1,Vs 2,Vitalogy 3,No Code 4,Yield 5,Ten 6,Backspacer, 7Pearl Jam 8,Binaural 9,Riot Act.
im sorry but have you even looked at the songs they have played since they have reformed?
stupid fool.
No i dont think so. A lot of 20th ann' will take place in the USA. Perhaps summer next year, but who knows.
Corgan's been whinging recently about the fans only wanting to hear the old hits: "You don't play Guitar Hero if you are a guitar hero."
On Zeitgeist: "A gold record in this economy is quite an accomplishment."
Dont know what old hits means. Bullet + today were 96 and 93 and they are the biggest id say. They been around since 1988 and released gish in 91. So you cant really get much older..
I had seen some setlists and a lot of the songs were from Zeitgeist... nuvcourse it was the Zeitgeist tour, but still, I had seen mostly Zeitgeist songs... and I was only saying that because Billy Corgan, for the most part, just pisses me off... because his older material pre-Machina, was brilliant, but after, it started to go down hill... yet throughout most of this time, he was/is a pompous pretentious prick... like he is the greatest person ever.
With that aside, I've been totally in love with Stand Inside Your Love... now I know I just said that after Adore, everything started sucking (since the song that I'm in love with is on Machina), but, that, plus the other 3 openers on the album are good and that's it.
i read what i said again and i was a bit too rude. Yes ive watched many billy interviews and its like cornell, they want to try new things, they got together to progress forward as a band not go back and just play old stuff.
Check out stand inside your love acoustic solo, thats beef - should be on youtube somewhere. ALl of adore is wicked live, never have really liked the studio version.
I think they have really varied it, these 20th anniversary shows will be awesome.
Yeah, I'm hoping this tour is awesome as well, I'm not attending, but it'd be cool either way.. I'll check out the song acoustic style.
