edited January 2008 in Other Music
Red Hot Chili Peppers Live in Hyde Park (2 disc set)
Johnny Cash Live at Folsom Prison
The Replacements Tim
Bob Seger and Silver Bullet Band GH 2
Tom Petty Highway Companion
Queen Greatest Hits
Cold Chisel (2 disc set)
Metallica and Justice For All, Master of Puppets

Not a bad little collection. The Metallica is INSANE! I had never heard any of their older records. Man, they changed alot in the 90s.

I'm surprised it took so long for a thread like this to appear. I can't get enough of reading these sort of lists.

    I received for Christmas:

Johnny Cash - At Folsom Prison
Townes Van Zandt - Delta Momma Blues
Drive-by Truckers - Southern Rock Opera (Vinyl)
    Pavement - Wowee Zowee (Vinyl)
    Pearl Jam - Ten (Vinyl)

I've used Christmas money from relatives to purchase:

Neil Young - On the Beach
Ryan Adams & The Cardinals - Follow the Lights
The Jayhawks - Rainy Day Music
    Iron & Wine - The Shepherd's Dog
Band of Horses - Cease to Begin
    Regina Spektor - Soviet Kitsch
Songs: Ohia - The Magnolia Electric Co (Vinyl)

this is the only one I picked up with X-mas money. Kicking myself for waiting this long. Simply stunning.

More important than getting music, I got an iPod stereo to play while at work.

Godsmack - A Decade of (greatest hits). It's not bad, pretty heavy.
Led Zeppelin - The Song Remains The Same (expanded edition). Reminds me all over again why Led Zeppelin is my fave band of all time.

I got the Joshua Tree 20 year anniversary double cd dvd book postcards set.Sweet :)
I hadnt realised it had been released yet.Been a bit neglectful recently of reading music magazines and trawling music stores to see whats happening. So it was a glorious surprise and rekindled my undying love of the boys fae Dublin town.
