Question about the new Chili Peppers video

The video is awesome but does anyone know who their immitating when Anthony Keidis is in the top hat, its a kinda 70's glam scene, I think its Marc Bolan but I'm not sure because Flea looks like hes doing a Bowie. I don't know just wondering if anyone knows if there paying homage to T-Rex? What a great, fun video!

    As far as I know he is impersonating Bootsy Collins.

    Bootsy Collins is not the right scene. Alice Copper....hmmm. I dont think its Cooper either but maybe. Well, maybe?.?

    If I'm remembering right then in an interview Kiedis said it was Bootsy, I'm almost positive.

    It's definetly not the Bootsy scene, that scene he is in big exaggerated glasses. I think it may be Alice Cooper, it just seemed too colorful and the mannerisms didn't hit me as Cooper but maybe it is. I can't wait to see it again, I love the Danzig shots too.

    I don't think Anthony is imitating Danzig, it's the Misfits. Also, Flea is the one dressed as Bootsy Collins. Going back to the original question, I'm not quite sure who Anthony is impersonating in the top hat. My best guess would be Marc Bolan as someone already suggested.

    Danzig was originally in the Misfits, so yes he was impersonating Danzig

    When Keidis is kinda stumbling/dancing thats PJ. I think the PJ part is inspired by the Evenflow vid.

    i'm leaning toward the NY dolls when he's in top hat and blue satin suit. Nice video. 2006 is going to be a big year for Pearl Jam and the RHCP.
