my streak for getting shut out of 10club tickets goes on.

a few notes of thanks:

thanks to any bonehead who decided that now was a great time to "test the system" for when it's their turn for tix. thanks a lot.

thanks to the out-of-towners who flock to NYC, even tho they're already already seeing them in their own city. now i cant get into a show in my own backyard.

thanks to whatever forces prevented me from actually getting the tickets into my cart. every time i got the BUY icon, i'd hit it and end up with "temporarily out of stock."

and finally, thanks to ticketmaster, whose services i will now be utilizing for both MSG 1 and 2.
Jam out with your clam out.

let it out....all who were denied are upset. I got the buy icon fake out too. Don't hate us out of towners for traveling to NYC to see Pearl Jam though. Its not like they ever have played Austin since the great non Ticketmaster tour back in 1994 or 95. How else are we supposed to see the band? I am going to fly to Tampa and I am really glad I bought those tickets now that is a good back up. My hopes are tempered for MSGII working. Hope your day gets better around 2pm by getting the lucky 2nd row tickets to MSGII. Good Luck!!!!!!

Yeah I'll be pissed too if I lose out to someone from across the country for the hartford show 1 1/2 hrs from me. I understand the frustration.

seriously, you're going to 8 other shows, lets give the NYers a chance to see them, im sure i'll be able to get tickets through ticketmaster or with luck the one at 2, but its just the principle of it, especially since i've never gotten a chance to see them live before, its just kind of salt in the wounds

so what do you say about people from the east coast taking all the EV solo shows? Or the same people getting tickets to the Vic? 2006 West Coast tour...

I feel bad for you but it does go both ways.....

right. cant u greenhorns get your out-of-town shows through ticketmaster? at least give the natives a CHANCE for tenclub tix to a show in their town. I'm not into whining or bitching (although this sounds rather close), but i'm just tired of this crap. third show in a row this shits gone on.

and i'm not being a dick or anything, i mean, i'm friendly with plenty of people here who are not from NYC but got tix anyway.

    have fun u bastards.

That is the best point you made. It has to be SO annoying to lose to someone from Cali or even fuckin Europe! I really feel bad for you I really do... I hope you have better luck for show #2 in about a minute and a half...
And before his first step... He's off again...

I feel bad for you long red, you know you’re an old favorite of mine on here, but as 10 club members, we all have the right to go for any show we choose. If you were talking about the average joe schmo on the street somehow getting tickets that shut you out of a fan club opportunity, that’s different.

We’re all fan club members, and who ever got them, are no less deserving than you.

For the record, I didn’t try to get MSG tickets. Quite honestly, I don’t get what the big F’n deal is about going to an MSG show. It’s no different than any other show.

Good luck to you for the second round.

My Frustration has cooled down since I got tickets to night 2 but i still think its kind of shitty that people who live in the area are missing out on the shows, I mean people can buy tickets to any show they want, don't get me wrong, but its just a frustrating aspect to missing out on a show. good luck to everyone going through ticketassholes, ill be there trying for night 1 along with you

EDIT: Long red did you try for MSG2 or did you say fuck it after the first fiasco?

First time Loser on the Ten Club, sucks! I've got a super low number & got f*cked twice today. Meanwhile everyone I know seems to have gotten tix to both shows. Looks like I'll be at the mercy of ticketbastard or scalpers. Somuch for the old skool fans. Hopefully I can snag tix 2morrow & trade my 2nd seats for MSG.
