I suppose the famous artists we all know are Hendrix , the Who and crosby stills, nash and young.
How did the rest of them do after or beforehand?
John B Sebastain: I've heard his Spoonful material but "I had a dream is a great song. What is his solo material like.
Canned heat : Are they a one hit wonder?
Richie Havens Don't know very little material from either him Arlo Guthrie, sha-na-na or Country Joe McDonald.
Joan Baez I know she was an equatence of Dylan .
Joe Cocker one of the greatest voices of the sixties. Should I get a greatest hits?
Santana : I don't like his sound.
Ten years after. Should I check them out. I love I'm going home
Jefferson Airplane. I have a greatest hits of theirs . A good band.
likewise Sly and the family stone.
Butterfield Blues band .Know little of them.

His song from woodstock is good.
  • Some of the artists in attendance... (folk, psych-rock, etc):

    Sweetwater
    CCR
    The Who
    Arlo Guthrie
    Janis Joplin
    Quill
    Joan Baez
    Jefferson Airplane
    Grateful Dead
    Blood, Sweat & Tears
    Joe Cocker
    Jimi Hendrix

there are more... but those are the ones that are memorable for me whenever i watch the footage...

if you even get to hear the story about the grateful dead playing at woodstock i would recommend finding it...some crazy stuff went down during the rainstorm/set :)
