Does anyone own any of their albums(not including greatest hits).
I love songs like "Shake your money maker", "Albtross" Man of the World etc..
Is there albums available of their material?

  • I have all of the Original Fleetwood Mac albums and quite a few bootlegs as well.

There is a box set you can buy that has 4 studio albums and 2 chicago blues sessions albums. You can get it at Tower for around $40.

Whoa- old thread here- before my time- but this is what search button came up with.

Anyway, every now and then I pull out early Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac album, Then Play On (the November 1969 Revised U.S. version which wisely added the essential song "Oh Well")*, put it on the turntable, turn the light down low, get comfortable and immerse my head and ears into all of side "A". If you have never done this- especially with a good vinyl copy- you will very likely be glad for when that happens. Green's contributions on this one are essential and he, Mick Fleetwood, Danny Kirwan, John McVie and occasionally Jeremy Spencer, created an amazing record here.

    * The early versions of the U.S. and British LP's are fine albums but the '69 U.S. Revised is the "must have" version.
“The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man [or woman] who lives fully is prepared to die at any time.”
Variously credited to Mark Twain or Edward Abbey.

  • My favourite piece of music from Greeny-era Fleetwood Mac is Underway.

On a slight tangent, I was fortunate to see the Peter Green Splinter Group live back in 1996. I recall that Albatross and The Green Manalishi were among the songs played that night.

Nice! Oh how I would love to have seen Green back then.

Peter Green fans here will want to check out his phenomenal LP,The End of the Game (especially on vinyl if you can find it). Here's the opening track:
