At what price would you sell your Benaroya LP?

When I see a price above $700, it certainly makes me stop and think. If I could ever get over $1,000 for it, I think I would have to give that some serious consideration. Is that wrong?

yes, very wrong. What's the difference between selling vinyl for 1000 times the cost price to doing that with posters, which people all the time on here are completely against?

Edit: but then again, there are dumbasses out there that will pay this crazy amount, so go for it :)

yea i'd say sell it for what it's worth, not what you paid for it. It's just like having the first issue of batman, would you sell it for the 50 cent face value?

My wrapping has been torn a little on the back side of it. Do you think that busts the value?

I think seriously about selling my copy about twice a year, but I can't seem to do it. Money is tight but when it's gone....baby it's gone.

This record is a gem. Its a piece of art and one of the best live recordings of all time. I love that show. And I love my Benny vinyl. Play it, display it, and save it.

Not that I would think of doing it. But... what would you pay for a 1057 the point Soldier Field Vinyl. It was unopened when I purchased it this year. I opened it to listen to it. It is the most expensive record or album I have ever purchased.

How much would that be worth to somebody?

at this stage, since I don't need money, I would never sell it.
Unless someone gives me $100,000 for it :D
Even if I am once in need of cash, I don't think I'll be able to sell it. I mean, even if I have $700 for it, it would just help paying one or two bills. One week after, the money will be spent and the vinyls would be in somebody else's hands.

I would sell mine for $700 and it is unopened. I would never list it on ebay though. I'm sure I could get more for this but I really wont ever play this. I actually bought it to hang on my wall. I never had any intention of playing it.

Im very torn about this record.....I realize from a collection standpoint its a "Gem" but the tracklisting on that vinyl is incomplete and out of order.....I wouldn't pay more than $30.00 for an unsealed copy now.

I don't buy that for a second. If someone offered to sell you their copy for $75, you're telling me you wouldn't take it? Forget how you feel about the tracklisting, you're making an investment...

btw, if someone is looking to unload their's for $75, I WILL buy it from you.

I think people here are over anal about selling market value, but with that said, I wouldn't even think about selling Benny for any value (realistic value, no one is going to pay $10,000 or such value for it)... that being if I had one... :(

I mean what's the point? You're going to spend the grand on paying bills to some suit. I could see that vinyl getting me through a lot of rough nights. That's not worth any cash value.

so you're saying that the value of the Benaroya vinyl has gone down since people originally purchased it?

i got my soldier field vinyl from someone that didnt like music, pj, or vinyls for $125 bucks. That same week I saw it going for 500 on ebay. The vinyl doesn't sound that great. It is marble vinyl and their is a bitchin' poster included. I have wanted that vinyl since 1998 when I was in junior high.
