I knew that I was going to blow that one. Should have done my research.
All the world will be your enemy, Prince with a thousand enemies, and whenever they catch you, they will kill you. But first they must catch you, digger, listener, runner, prince with the swift warning. Be cunning and full of tricks and your people shall never be destroyed.

The whole "Sleep Dirt" album is instrumental heaven. Add The Black Page #2 and Black Napkins to the Zappa list.
After reading through this thread I've been listening to instrumentals non stop but Nine Inch Nails - "The Mark Has Been Made" and "Just Like You Imagined" off of The Fragile have got to be up there for me

There was a Frank Zappa documentary on the BBC not long before Frank died. The closing scene showed a very ill Frank meeting and greeting some old friends in the studio or someplace (I think Bozzio and Ray White were among them). Watermelon In Easter Hay was the soundtrack, I cried my eyes out.
A most beautiful piece of music, but I can't listen to it now without getting a lump in my throat.
