The charge for the Bonnaroo CD bootleg just hit my account, so that should be good news.

I purchased 4 shows including that one on Friday and my statement is showing I was charged for all 4 the next day.

It originally showed on my account, and then it went away, but now it's back.

    Weird.

    How's everyone, been a long time since I posted-but i read still.

Anyways- Is anyone having problems with the download of concerts- I bought the Va Beach Concert yesterday and it wasn't available yesterday until after I left for the Mansfield II concert (which was awesome). So while I was at the concert I got an e-mail saying it was ready for download and when I went to download it this morning it says that it has expired and now I can't download it. Anyone having this kind of problem?

    Thanks.

I had that happen, BUT after I had downloaded the show.
However all links are now on again for me, so it appears you can download a show multiple times if necessary.

Still waiting for Bonnaroo. Oh, where art though Bonnaroo? It would be nice to have at least some kind of update on when it can be expected. It's still saying it will be available on 6/30 (after being delayed from 6/28 and two subsequent shows being issued) and one day later we are left hoping and wondering.

Yep. Mine just changed from 6/30 to 7/15.

Must be one hell of a mix job.

Fair enough, I totally agree on the sound issue. Like I said once we got to 06 with Basecamp they were doing a really good job.

If I remember correctly the whole Basecamp thing was PJ partnering with a startup company, where PJ provided the content and Basecamp provided the distribution system. The problem with that was that clearly Basecamp didn't last and PJ had to come up with something else, and now they are starting over again.

But the real question here is the one posed earlier in the thread... If Widespread Panic can do it, and do it well... Why can't Pearl Jam?

I just have to point out that it's not just Panic... If you go to nugs.net, you see a whole shitload of bands that leave their shows up for sale permanently (nugs is great because it redirects you to the bands respective sites). In fact, Pearl Jam is the only band I can think of that has sold downloads of their shows that they then pull down. Can anyone think of any others? I would say instead of Panic, if Umphrey's Mcgee can do this, why can't Pearl Jam?

What the hell, must be waiting for Brendan O'Brien to clear his schedule. Hard to believe it's just a "mix job". It will be a month after the performance before we get the show, apparently. Yet Metallica's show from Bonnaroo (very well mixed, I might add), has been available for a week.
There must be something else going on here.
What a disappointment. The most heavily anticipated show is the one we have to wait the longest for. It had better be worth it.

Why so much complaining about Bonnaroo? We'll get the show when it's ready, or maybe they'll cancel it all together. Who knows? In the meantime, we have 800+ other boots we can listen to.

I'm waiting with the rest of you, but everyone needs to learn some patience. I know it's hard in this day and age but it can be done.

Here's a tip: drink at least 6 beers a night. It makes the week fly by.

I'm sure this has already been posted, but I logged into the "Goods" section and saw the Camden I download link was available. When I purchased this last week, it said it wouldn't be available until July 2nd. Likewise, Camden II still says it won't be available until July 3rd, but I'm going to view tomorrow just in case.

Not sure why they pushed it up a day and I never even got the email of this download being available. I'm happy, though and I can't wait to listen to it tonight.
    Rock on!

To me this one sounds pretty good compared to the others. Maybe because it has 'Love Reign O'er Me'. Looking forward to listening in depth.

    What does everyone else think?

Don't sleep on Columbia. It is absolutely fantastic. The Grand Rapids 06 of this tour. Mix is much improved as well.
Once in a while you can get shown the light, in the strangest of places if you look at it right.
  • exactly. and i think its cool that we look for the GR of this and future tours. there are similarities there, outside of the music that was played. we'd point it out to the masses, but that might make the next GR too obvious, and then it wouldn't be the GR of the '09, '10, '11, etc, tours.

OK, I started downloading the Camden I FLAC 4 hours ago, and it's only 22% of the way through. I know nothing about this sort of thing, is there anything I can do to speed things up a bit, or is this normal?
