so getting tickets was tit, and after i checked my account to make sure i put in my account info correctly I noticed that the money had been deducted. not that there was any doubt but does this mean the show is confirmed?

The post above is correct. What they did was called a "temporary authorization." Gas stations and hotels do the same thing when you run your card before they actually know how much you're going to spend. The amount of the tickets is deducted from your available balance for a short time, probably a day or so in this case, but the money isn't actually removed from your account. i.e. the tickets aren't actually "charged" until the show is confirmed. If the show is confirmed they'll actually deduct the money.
What will probably happen is you'll see the deducted amount "magically" re-appear in a day or so...then the charge will actually go through when and if the show is confirmed.0 -

yes, that's what i've read here, a few times now. seems...bizarre?
but aha, thank you! south park, gotcha. and yea...don't watch/follow, so thus why i am like wtf? none the less..i still think it rather...weird?
