The problem with this is that it overlooks the massive contributions to human culture and development made by the Hall & Oates Lyrics. It's for this reason, and this reason alone, that I can't agree.
I actually prefer the string quartet tribute. Its all those classic H and O songs "toned down a bit." Hall and Oates themselves were a little too aggressive for my taste.

Yes, but it was difficult to tell if this play on words was written with the necessary spirit of reverence due the great masters.
Completely. I love H&O. But I don't need to hear them symphonic. Maybe it sounds great but there is too much soul in their music that I think would be missing in a string composition.
The real gem is the very touching, H&O's tribute to The String Quartet's tribute to H&O. The way they reproduced the String Quartet's reproduction of the vocal melodies was incredible. It's like listening to H&O singing while wearing muzzles.
