just how fuckin great is this band...
i've been listening to this band for 8 yrs now....and i'm still going apeshit over these guys
london calling is mastery...sandinista! is a raucous party....and their debut is fiery
listening to their cover of 'pressure drop'...oh such excellence!

Right now I'm listening to Sandinista, it reminds me very much of No Code because it's so experimental.
Favourite songs are, White Riot, Tommy Gun, The Sound Of Sinners and Rudie Can't Fail.
Taking royalty cuts on London Calling and Sandinista just to get them out there the way they wanted is truly above and beyond what most any other band would be willing to do.
I believe that the royalties for the first 200,000 copies of Sandinista were deferred to the record company . That takes balls
does anyone know where I can get sales numbers for the only band that matters? specifically for Sandinista as that comment got me thinking.
