Leave You Behind, or One More Hour by Sleater-Kinney

I liked all the Elliott Smith mentions, but the one I first thought of, No Name No.3 wasn't on the list. That one is so pretty, it makes me think of driving towards the Berkshires in autumn.

Blistered Heart by Badly Drawn Boy is also heartbreaking, if I had a heart.

    Wilco-Jesus Etc

This song just has a groove to it that I just can't describe. I just love it. THe song is not overly complicated or anything, but it captures a feeling for me. Kind of like that feel Neil Young talks about when he talks about capturing a moment. THis one does it for me like that.

Speaking of Neil I'll throw in Cortez the Killer too.

a little love for Buffalo Springfield and Poco

Kind Woman - written by Richie Furay

I got a good reason for loving you
    It’s an old fashioned sigh
I kinda get the feelin’ like mmm you know when
I fell in love the first time
    Kind woman
    Won’t you love me tonight
I’ve seen the look in your eyes
    Kind woman
    Don’t leave me lonely tonight
    Please say it’s alright

    Remember once before you’re hearing
    The old folks say
    Love’s an ageless old rhyme
But now a days you know the sayin’ depends
    So much on
The kind of woman that you find

    Kind woman
    Won’t you love me tonight
I’ve seen the look in your eyes
    Kind woman
    Don’t leave me lonely tonight
    Won’t you say it’s alright

    Kind woman
    Won’t you love me tonight
I’ve seen the look in your eyes
    Kind woman
    Don’t leave me lonely tonight
    Won’t you say it’s alright
Down the street you can hear her scream youre a disgrace
As she slams the door in his drunken face
    And now he stands outside
And all the neighbours start to gossip and drool
He cries oh, girl you must be mad,
What happened to the sweet love you and me had?
Against the door he leans and starts a scene,
And his tears fall and burn the garden green
